Guideline for teaching on Conned
Provide syllabus of the course
- Instructor’s name: Name of the instructor
- Required course materials: What books or materials are being used for this course?
- Course Overview: Describe the course and its objective
- Course Components: Does the course include an independent project? If yes, please describe. A project can be understood as “a relatively big homework with a clear objective” where students independently solve, under guidance, in a relatively longer time period (depend on the level). Every course should include one project to encourage independent, critical thinking.
- Grading: How should the student’s learning be assessed? Parents can do the grading?
- Timeline: A detailed timeline for students to follow. On what day should homework 1 be done? what day should the project be done?
Each lesson video
- Video should be no more than 15 mins each, 10 mins or less is preferred. Good video quality.
- Each lesson, although short, needs a clear objective of what a student would get out of it.
- Terms used in the lesson should be in English or provided with equivalent English terms.
- Supplements (if any): list of terms, list of exercises, materials.
